March 26 20132013-03-26July 08 20132013-07-08A row of seated men eat a meal from stainless steel compartment trays with banana leaf-style yellow portions and small bowls. They wear white kurta-style clothing with red-orange shawls draped around their necks. The man in front, with curly dark hair, lifts food to his mouth with his right hand while looking to the side. Others sit beside him, some in blue jeans under their white garments. Behind them, more people in white and saffron-orange clothing stand in a hall, and a screen glows at the right edge. The setting suggests a communal annadan meal at an ashram.2013-11-10 +1 copiesA photograph of a serving line where a bald man with a red tilak on his forehead wears a white kurta, an orange-red shawl, and an orange lanyard with a white badge, holding a white plate with a flatbread or pancake.
