Behind them a large brass vessel is garlanded with yellow and red flowers. Two priests in white dhotis with golden borders stand in the background near a golden structure. No identifiable a person is visible; the photo shows ritual objects and priests only.2020-01-29A seated ritual scene on temple steps with a group of men, mostly bare-chested and wearing white or yellow dhotis and rudraksha malas. In the foreground, rows of coconuts wrapped in white jasmine garlands sit atop decorated kalasha pots on a cloth, with plates of flowers and betel leaves. A man at the right in a dark turban, rust-orange robe and long rudraksha mala sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, while a bearded older priest in white with a pink flower tray sits beside him. Pilgrims crowd the stone steps behind them, consistent with a puja or abhishekam at a temple.2018-04-29Photograph of a temple ritual with a row of seated men in white dhotis, several bare-chested and wearing rudraksha and gold-toned chains, sitting on a stone step. A large silver kalasha wrapped in white cloth and hung with gold bells sits at centre, surrounded by smaller brass-rimmed coconut offerings on leaf-lined plates with rice, red flower petals, banana leaves and bananas. A lit oil lamp stands at left, with a fruit basket behind. An orange-draped object sits beside the central pot. No people are visible, so this shows puja offerings rather than a person.2015-09-15April 29 20182018-04-29A group of bare-chested men in white dhotis sit on a stone floor in a temple corridor during a ritual. A standing man in the centre wears a white dhoti with orange and yellow borders, a rudraksha-style mala and a neck chain, with hands folded. Seated men hold open books or palm-leaf texts, and several wear beaded malas and sacred threads. In front of them lie coconuts decorated with white flower garlands, banana leaves, a pink flower heap and small brass vessels. Behind them, men in orange cloths and a stone pillar frame the scene. No identifiable a person figure is visible; the people appear to be priests and devotees.2018-04-29May 26 20172017-05-26
