In the centre, a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha mala holds a lit oil lamp, with white tripundra marks on his forehead and arms. Beside him, another man in orange with a dark bead mala holds a lamp. Behind them, young boys in maroon and gold-bordered cloths and beaded necklaces sit, some holding lamps. Several raise small oil lamps or lit lamps aloft, and a brass lamp and small brass vessels sit in the foreground beside incense sticks. Behind them a pale interior wall with framed pictures and a brown door. A young man in the centre holds a lamp above his head, wearing rudraksha beads, a pendant necklace and a white sacred thread across his chest. On the right a man with rudraksha malas and orange cloth stands out in the foreground. The scene appears to be a lamp-waving ritual or aarti during a group worship session.2017-01-25
