A shaved-headed man in rimless glasses sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes lowered, in a devotional ritual setting. He wears a white dhoti with red borders bared over the shoulder, a rudraksha mala, a gold-toned bangle and a silver ring, with white sacred ash marks on his forehead and arms and a red bindi. A silver plate with offerings is visible at the lower right, and a woman in white and orange is partly visible at the upper right. The setting resembles a paduka puja.

A shaved-headed young priest in white ritual cloth sits behind silver puja trays, a white sacred thread shawl draped over his shoulder with orange-tipped strings, and a rudraksha mala hanging around his neck. He has white vertical tilak lines and a red bindi on his forehead, and he looks down toward the trays holding red flowers, a silver bowl and offerings. Behind him stand an orange patterned cloth hanging and red-and-white striped pillars in an open courtyard. The scene suggests a padapuja setting of devotional worship, with the priest as the central figure.
