Behind is a pillar or post wrapped in beaded garlands of pale flowers and strands, and a blurred figure in light clothing stands in the dark background. The setting appears to be a nighttime ritual.2018-05-31 +1 copiesFebruary 07 20162016-02-07February 07 20162016-02-07March 29 20132013-03-29A large round brass plate filled with ash-coloured and reddish offering material sits on a dark wooden table in a plain room. A flame rises from the left edge of the plate, and pink-red petals or offerings are scattered across the pile. In the background, several people in white clothing sit or stand along a wall and doorway, some in orange cloth. The floor is pale stone. The setting suggests a homa or fire ritual, with figures seated in the background.2007-10-15A smoky photograph of a homa fire pit in a dim outdoor space. Bright orange flames rise from a red-brick fire pit with smoke drifting across the frame. Mango leaves and marigold garlands hang from overhead structures, and a white plate sits at the lower left. Faint figures in white stand far in the background, partly hidden by the haze, and a cable runs along the ground. The scene suggests a fire ritual, though no clear ritual figure is identifiable.2009-01-12April 14 20182018-04-14A close photograph of an aarti lamp held aloft by two hands at the lower edge of the frame. A tall flame rises from a brass camphor lamp with a cup-shaped bowl and a handle, set against a dark backdrop. To the left, a blurred gold deity murti or ornament sits beside a garland of red and white flowers. Behind, a blurred red and dark screen with coloured panels. No faces are visible, and the scene suggests an aarti offering during a satsang.2018-04-23April 14 20182018-04-14
