A photograph inside a temple hall with gold-painted pillars, red draped cloth and banana plants. In the foreground an older man with grey hair wears an orange saffron robe draped over his shoulders and bows forward, smiling, with his hands near the taller man beside him. That taller man, with dark curly hair, glasses and a beard, wears an orange robe, a long orange rudraksha mala and a pendant necklace, and smiles broadly. Behind them two people in orange robes stand near an altar, and a deity murti is visible at the right. Appearance alone does not establish that either man is a person, so no identification is made.2019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16May 08 20122012-05-08Indoor photo in a hall with a red-carpeted dais and ornate gold thrones against a dark backdrop. Two standing men in orange robes pose front and centre. The man on the right has a full dark beard, an orange shawl, a long wooden staff held in one hand and beaded necklaces, hands clasped at his chest. Two more orange-robed men are partly visible behind on the left near the gold chair, and a brass lamp stands on the right. Two white room fans stand on the left.2012-09-27February 09 20122012-02-09A photograph inside a temple hall with red carpet runner between steel railings. In the centre, a shaven-headed man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala walks barefoot along the carpet toward the viewer. Behind him stands a large deity murti with garlands and a red-and-green backdrop. To the right, another saffron-robed man with a rudraksha mala walks away, and on the left a woman in white and orange and a man in white ritual dress stand near the railings. Red curtains frame the hall.2011-09-24Photograph inside a stone temple corridor with dark granite pillars and a bright ceiling light. Three saffron-robed men walk forward in the centre and left. A central figure wears a long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a gold chain with a pendant, a rudraksha mala, a gold-coloured waist belt and an orange garment with gold border, and carries an orange umbrella. Beside him a bald man wears a white forehead band, a rudraksha mala with a gold pendant, and an orange shawl with gold trim. A third saffron-clad man walks at the far left. Other people in white shirts and trousers stand behind, and a woman in a green sari and a red-clad figure appear in the background. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), the central figure with long hair, ornate gold necklaces and rudraksha malas, presented as a guest on a temple visit.2012-07-24Three people walk barefoot along a stone-paved temple corridor lined with gold trishul staffs, a gold elephant figure and hanging colourful tassels. On the left, a bearded man in orange robes and glasses carries a bag over his shoulder and wears rudraksha beads. In the centre, an older man with swept-back grey hair wears orange silk robes and a white forehead mark, his hands folded in greeting. On the right, a woman in a deep red-brown sari wears a beaded necklace and a white forehead mark. Green banana leaves and a gold kalasha-style pillar frame the scene.2019-07-16A covered outdoor hall with a corrugated metal roof and orange-washed walls hosts a ceremonial gathering. In the centre, a man with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala wears a saffron-orange robe and stands with his hands folded, gazing upward toward a raised orange-draped seat or peetha on the left. Beside him, a bald, bespectacled sannyasi in orange robes and beads stands with a hand near his chest. Behind them, people in white dhotis and white shawls stand in rows, and a cameraperson in white films the scene. A red carpet runs down the floor and a red-and-orange curtain hangs at the left edge. Swamiji candidate in_person: the central saffron-robed man with long hair, rudraksha mala and folded hands is a probable appearance-based match; the bald sannyasi beside him is a priest.2010-10-30A photograph inside an indoor hall with white walls and ceiling lights. In the left foreground a brass deity murti or ceremonial metal object decorated with yellow and purple flower garlands sits on a dark red cloth. Beside him stands an older man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a white flower garland held in his hands. Behind them a man in white clothes smiles, and a framed portrait of two saints in orange hangs on the wall. A person in white with dark curly hair and an orange shawl is partly visible in the right foreground. Several other men in white and yellow clothes are visible in the background.2006-10-15
