A bearded man in a rust-brown robe with a long white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala walks at the centre beneath a tall multicoloured silk canopy held on a long pole. Around him, men in saffron-orange dhotis with gold-bordered white dhotis carry brass pots and a conch-like vessel. Palm trees, a wire fence and a brick structure stand behind. The bearded man in the rust-brown robe is distinctively clothed with garland and mala, but his appearance alone does not establish identity, so no probable label is applied.2017-01-01December 03 20162016-12-03Photo of a procession walking down a red carpet under a white canopy with pink and striped fringe. A central man with a long-sleeved... wait, correction: a central man in a plain maroon-brown dhoti and sash wears a thick multicolour flower garland and gold ornaments, walking barefoot with hands at his sides. On his left, a man in an orange dhoti holds a tall yellow-handled ceremonial parasol with a multicoloured canopy. Lines of people in orange and saffron clothing stand on both sides with palms pressed together in greeting, including several girls wearing rudraksha malas. Behind them is a decorated altar area with a deity murti, a kalasha and lamps. Several men in white dhotis stand at the left edge.2017-09-02A procession of devotees in orange and saffron garments walks along a red and white striped mat inside a decorated hall. In front, a bearded man in a brown robe and a long white and pink flower garland, with gold and rudraksha necklaces and a dark cap, holds his hands in anjali. Beside him a man in white dhoti and shawl with white beads carries a tall staff. Behind them, a figure in orange holds a silver-decorated peetha with flowers, and others play small cymbals and a drum. Figures wear orange turbans, rudraksha malas and vibhuti. A large banner of a crowd hangs behind. Photograph of a ritual procession.2018-04-14A procession under a striped tent hung with colourful tassels and small lamps, with red carpet on the ground. A central bearded man in a maroon-brown dhoti and shawl wears a large gold pendant, a garland of white and pink flowers, and a maroon turban; he walks forward with hands near his body. A bearer behind him holds a white parasol with ornate silver-like detailing. Flanking him, men in saffron-orange cloths walk, some bare-chested with rudraksha malas and sacred markings. A man in white dhoti carries a tray of fruits and offerings, and devotees in white and orange stand along the sides with folded hands. Several people are visible in the crowd beyond.
