A bald man with a long beaded necklace and rudraksha-style mala sits upright in a tall brown leather chair, wearing a saffron-red dhoti and shawl, with hands resting on his lap. Around him, dozens of participants sit on red carpet in white kurtas and white clothing with red shawls, most with both hands raised to the top of their heads in a uniform posture. Some wear saffron and yellow garments. Behind them are display boards and framed photographs along the walls, a red-draped table and a few deity figures in the background. The seated figure appears to be a person, given the robed presentation, ornate mala and central seat, and is presented as the guiding presence of the session.2015-07-17July 16 20152015-07-16July 06 20172017-07-06September 23 20172017-09-23 +1 copiesA crowded indoor hall of seated devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas, many with red or orange shawls and red-orange necklaces, raising their arms with hands on their heads in a unified gesture. Many are seated on striped red, pink and purple mats. In the centre stands a large red and silver ornate throne (peetha) with a red seat, flanked by a silver trident (trishul) and a standing fan. Behind the throne a dark-haired woman in red sits on a low seat. Pink walls display framed religious pictures and a banner reading 'Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham'. Chairs in the foreground are red-upholstered. No one is clearly identifiable as the a person on the throne, which is empty of a clear occupant.2017-07-02 +1 copies
