May 25 20172017-05-25A man in profile stands at left before a golden shrine lit with warm lights, holding an oil lamp near a golden deity murti of a seated couple with crowns, gold jewelry and ornate prabhavali behind them. He wears a red-orange cloth, a leopard-print headband, a long white and yellow flower garland with red blossoms, gold bangles on his upper arm and a gold ring in his ear. In front of the shrine, a brass vessel holds pink petals and flowers on a red cloth, while a green cloth drapes the altar. Behind is a painted banyan tree backdrop with a red-and-white decorated panel at left. The man has a shaved-hair style with long locks at the back and no clear identifying cues beyond ceremonial dress.2017-09-10July 03 20162016-07-03Outdoor night scene at a shrine decorated with multicoloured string lights and draped cloth. A long-haired man with a gold ornamental necklace, gold armbands and a rust-coloured shawl sits on a red cushioned seat, one hand raised to his head. Behind him, a priest in a bare-chested white dhoti with orange and green borders stands facing a decorated deity murti flanked by oil lamps, garlands and brass vessels. A woman in a red headcloth is seated at the lower right. The floor is covered with a striped mat with flower offerings and a basket in front.2017-05-25October 10 20172017-10-10 +1 copiesPhotograph of a ritual inside a decorated tent. A man in a red-orange dhoti and shawl, with a gold waist belt, a long gold-and-beaded necklace and gold armbands, stands with palms pressed together in prayer beside a fire pit with a bright flame in the foreground. Behind him, women in white saris stand near brass oil lamps and a garlanded white floral arch. On the right, a deity murti is adorned with flower garlands, a blue and gold cloth and a decorative crown, set on a striped cloth-draped platform beside gold ornamental metalwork. A red cloth covers a table with brass lamps. The setting suggests a homa or puja with flowers and fire offerings.2016-05-24December 07 20162016-12-07April 15 20182018-04-15April 15 20182018-04-15A photograph of a man with long dark hair and a trimmed beard, bare-chested and wearing a rust-red wrap and heavy gold necklaces and armbands, kneeling with hands pressed together in añjali mudra and eyes closed in prayer. Behind him a second man in white with a gold chain sits partly visible, and in the background a deity murti is decorated with garlands and lit by oil lamps and multicoloured fairy lights. Gold ornaments adorn the shrine arch. The appearance cues (long hair, ornate gold jewellery, saffron-toned wrap) are consistent with Swamiji (probable), shown in prayer during a puja before the shrine.2017-05-25April 01 20162016-04-01 +1 copiesNovember 25 20142014-11-25
