Photograph of many brass bowls arranged in tiers on an orange cloth, each filled with food offerings such as rice mixed with herbs and nuts, sweet balls, puffed grains, lentils, and whole almonds. A hand in a red sleeve is visible at the upper left pouring or placing something into one bowl. No people's faces are shown. The setting suggests a ritual food offering.2019-01-08October 29 20162016-10-29A photograph of many stainless steel bowls arranged in tiered rows on a red-tiled step in front of dark red velvet drapes. The bowls hold a wide variety of foods, including grains, lentils, sweets, fruits such as pineapples, papayas, lemons, apples, grapes and pomegranates, and cooked dishes. A potted palm stands at the right edge, and a small metal tray sits at the lower left. No people are visible, and the arrangement reflects the 108-item food offering described for the ritual.2006-10-21 +1 copiesOctober 21 20152015-10-21 +2 copiesDozens of polished brass bowls are stacked in tiered rows on a table draped with a red cloth printed with white paisley motifs. Each bowl is covered with clear plastic wrap and holds a different offering: grains, lentils, spices, powders, dried fruits, nuts, sugar crystals, and loose seeds. No people are visible. The arrangement appears to be ceremonial offerings for a Guru Purnima celebration.2016-07-19January 08 20192019-01-08A photograph of a long offering table covered with many metal bowls and plates of food, including rice, lentil and vegetable dishes, sweets, bananas, orange carrots and coconuts, wrapped with foil and placed before a dark red velvet curtain. Two people in orange clothing stand at the table: a child in an orange top leans over the far end, and an adult in an orange dhoti and shirt bends forward arranging the bowls. A seated person's head is visible in the lower right corner. The scene suggests a food offering for prasad, and the page links it to Deepavali and Kaali pooja, though the offering itself is not clearly labelled.2006-10-21A photograph of a large offering arranged on a red carpet: dozens of polished brass bowls heaped with food, including green and yellow noodle-like preparations, sweet balls, fried snacks, fresh bananas, red apples, green grapes and mixed fruit, some bowls covered with clear plastic wrap and decorated with green leaves. A purple cloth and a partially visible brass or golden object sit at the top, and a patterned rug lies at the bottom edge. No people are visible.2016-01-24 +1 copiesApril 17 20182018-04-17April 17 20182018-04-17Dozens of small brass bowls are arranged in tiered heaps on a white cloth in front of a gold-coloured shrine. The bowls hold mixed savoury snacks, including golden fried grains, thin twisted fried noodles, and green leafy garnish, along with white rice-like grains and a few round sweets. A red cloth hangs in the background. No people are visible, so this appears to be a food offering or annadan display rather than a ritual with participants.2019-01-05A large arrangement of many brass bowls filled with offerings, each covered with clear plastic wrap and often topped with green leaves. The bowls hold assorted foods including sweets, round laddu-like balls, fruits such as apples and oranges, dried fruits or nuts, spiced mixtures, and grains.
