A large seated congregation inside a tent-like hall, mostly women and men in white clothes with saffron-orange shawls and lanyards, many with hands pressed in anjali mudra and white tilak marks on foreheads. Rows of metal stands and saffron-robed figures on a raised stage appear in the background, with a large golden decorative backdrop behind them. The scene suggests satsang or a ceremonial gathering.2015-09-11September 11 20152015-09-11A satsang gathering in a decorated hall with a red and gold carpet on the floor. A man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head arms, facing a microphone, with a gold low table in front of him. Around him sit many devotees in white and orange-saffron clothes, some wearing rudraksha malas and white forehead markings; several are seated cross-legged on striped mats while others look toward the speaker. Gold and red ornamental deity figures and garlands fill the background. The man on the throne shows distinctive long hair and saffron robes, consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) identification on this page; the identity is an appearance-based label only.2015-09-18December 14 20122012-12-14December 09 20132013-12-09 +1 copiesA photograph of a satsang in a temple hall with a large crowd of devotees seated on colourful striped rugs. A man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and a gold necklace sits on an ornate golden lion-armed throne at right, speaking into a microphone. Around him women in white saris and orange-red shawls, some with rudraksha malas, sit with palms folded or raised in devotion. A small wooden table holds a steel flask and an orange cup. Behind them stand golden deity murti and an elaborate golden shrine with a gilded horse-headed figure. Probable Swamiji (saffron robes, long hair, gold necklace, seated on a lion throne) is the central teacher. Several devotees wear white and red ritual clothing.2015-09-18December 17 20172017-12-17 +1 copiesA large seated crowd fills an open-sided hall with a corrugated metal roof. Most people are women in white saris and white clothing, many wearing orange or red shawls and red-and-white beaded necklaces with ID lanyards. Several have white or ash markings on their foreheads. Behind them, rows of saffron-robed sadhus and monks sit in the background. At the far end, a golden deity murti or figure stands near a decorated altar with orange cloth and a small green tree. The atmosphere is a satsang or gathering at the Kumbh camp.2015-09-11July 14 20152015-07-14September 17 20152015-09-17 +1 copiesDecember 03 20132013-12-03A large seated congregation of women fills a tent hall on striped woven mats. Most wear white or cream clothing with saffron-orange shawls over their shoulders and beaded necklaces. In the foreground, a woman in a cream sari with gold border and a woman in a yellow-gold top raise their arms and smile, while others sit with bags and water bottles nearby. Rows of attendees extend back toward an open entrance, and at the right edge a deity murti stands on an altar beside a tall lamp with kalasha-style decorations.2015-09-17
