A photograph of an indoor ritual gathering in a hall with red and white walls and a floral decorated stage. Many saffron-robed and rust-red-robed monastic disciples stand and kneel on a white floor. Several men with shaved heads wear rudraksha malas and gold-trimmed orange dhotis and shawls, some with bare upper bodies and sandal-paste markings. Some figures are pressing palms together in namaskar greetings, and others are bowing low to the ground. Young boys in orange robes with gold borders stand near them, and a woman in the background wears a white sari. A water bottle sits on the floor at the lower left. Visibly this looks like a ritual reception of monastics at a Maheshwara Puja-style event.

A photograph of a ritual scene with several saffron-robed figures in an indoor hall. A bald man with a long rudraksha mala and orange shawl stands at centre, handing yellow flower petals to a young boy in orange robes with white forehead marking. Other boys in orange and red-bordered cloth hold marigold petals, and a woman in an orange sari stands at right, with a cameraman behind. The moment suggests a puja offering of flower petals. Red curtains and a white-covered table appear in the background.

Beside them a man in maroon robes with a yellow sash around his waist and white marks on his arm presses his palms together in greeting. To the right, a bald man in maroon robes with a long rudraksha mala and a woman in orange wraps stand close by. A photograph of a group of saffron-robed sannyasis standing in a pillared hall with a crowd behind them. In the foreground a shaven-headed monk in orange wraps with a red-and-gold border faces away from the camera, and a young child in an orange robe with gold trim stands beside him holding a hand. To the right, bald monks in red-and-gold garments wear wooden rudraksha malas and one wears a silver pendant; they are clasping hands and turning toward one another. Behind them, seated and standing devotees in colourful saris and white clothing fill the background. The setting appears to be a large open ritual or convention venue.

A bare-chested man in the centre wears a rudraksha mala and a white forehead band, and is handing small items to the boys. A photograph of a ritual gathering in a hall, with many young priests and devotees seated on the floor in orange and maroon robes. Foreground boys wear orange cloth and rudraksha malas, their foreheads and arms marked with white ash; some hold small items at their hands while sitting before brass puja vessels, small dishes and flowers on low tables. Behind them, rows of seated participants in maroon and red garments and white clothing sit behind rope barriers, with a few standing figures and an older man in white at the right edge. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam-style ceremony with brass vessels and oil lamps.
