June 01 20092009-06-01A line of devotees walks barefoot along a dirt path shaded by trees in a garden setting, with a white building topped by a blue dome visible in the background. Many women wear white salwar kameez with white or pale shawls, one woman in a pale pink top and white pants, another in a cream kurta; a bald man in white stands mid-line, and men in white or grey T-shirts walk among them. Some carry cloth bags. No one is clearly identifiable as a person; the figures are devotees in procession-like file.2009-06-01November 21 20112011-11-21November 21 20112011-11-21June 01 20092009-06-01November 16 20092009-11-16November 21 20112011-11-21June 01 20092009-06-01A photograph of a group of women walking single file along a dirt path through shaded trees on an ashram grounds. In the foreground a woman in an all-white outfit carries an orange cup, and beside her a woman in a white top and maroon trousers wears a beaded mala. Behind them, a woman carries a purple yoga mat rolled under her arm, and others in white and pink salwar clothing follow along the path between flat stone markers. Bright sunlight filters through leafy branches, with a red-orange building visible in the background.2011-12-05A group of about a dozen people in white clothing walks single file along a sandy path shaded by large trees at an ashram. Several wear flower garlands around their necks. A man in front wears a white kurta and a white dhoti, and a woman in the middle wears white with an orange bag. Behind them a white building and a red gate are visible. On the right, two women walk with garlands, one in a colourful patterned shawl.2009-12-02A group of devotees walks barefoot along a red-earth path beside a white-walled building with a green hedge and flowering purple bougainvillea. Most wear white kurtas, shawls and white salwar or dhoti-style clothing; one older woman in a yellow sari leans on a cane, and a man on the right in a white kurta wears a red-and-brown rudraksha-style mala. Leafy trees overhang the path. A large wall poster with a portrait and printed text stands at left. The procession appears to be a morning walk between sessions.2009-06-17Outdoor photo of a group of young girls in plain white kurta-style tunics and white pants walking barefoot along a dusty path strewn with small white shells and dry leaves. Several wear rudraksha-style beaded malas around their necks, and one has a braid. A tree with yellow-green leaves and a cinder block wall stand behind them, and a man in white clothing is partly visible at the right edge. This is a group walking scene with no visible ritual activity, and no one in the image is identified as a person.2007-03-06
