Outdoor scene at a construction site beside a whitewashed block wall with red painted vertical stripes. A seated deity murti with a crown and ornate gold-coloured decorations sits in a niche on the right, with a wooden ladder leaning against the wall beside it. A large banner portrait of a smiling man in an orange-saffron turban and robes hangs on a stand in the background. Several men in orange-saffron robes stand on the dusty ground, some holding staffs, while a man in white dhoti and shirt stands at left. Offerings with a brass kalasha and flower garlands sit on a white cloth at the base of the murti. Corrugated roofed sheds and a clear blue sky complete the setting.2007-02-23February 05 20152015-02-05Outdoor photo of a temple consecration or installation at a shaded site among large trees. A tall black stone sculpture of a seated or standing deity form stands on a grey concrete base, held by a wooden frame with cross-braces. To the right, a raised red metal platform with wooden steps holds a group of men in saffron and orange dhotis and shawls; one man in the centre wears a long white garland and a saffron shawl, and another stands bare-chested with a white cloth. Below on the platform, several saffron-robed attendants stand near offerings. Piled dry leaves and a red wall are visible at left, with a speaker on the right.2015-02-05Outdoor ritual at a shaded site among trees, with a black stone deity murti on the left and a small sculpture group nearby. Two men in saffron-orange robes with yellow borders stand on a raised platform with a striped cloth, one holding an object aloft. A man in saffron robes at the right operates a camera on a tripod-like stand, and another woman in white and a woman in a saffron sari with a white garland stand near a draped metal ramp and a low table with offerings. Scattered flower petals and dry leaves lie on the ground.2015-02-05May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesAugust 09 20072007-08-09Outdoor photograph of a group of saffron-robed sannyasis walking along a sandy path beside a white compound wall, beneath a large leafy tree. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair, saffron-orange robe and multiple rudraksha malas walks at the front and smiles; he has a distinctive long-haired appearance with rudraksha malas, so the appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable), in_person. Beside him, a bald elderly man in orange cloth walks, and a bearded sannyasi in orange wears a rudraksha mala and an orange turban-style head cloth. A younger sannyasi in an orange head wrap and orange robe carries a garland. Behind them, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti and a man in a yellow robe with a green-and-gold shawl walk, and a person in white is partly visible at the right edge. Behind the wall, a temple gopuram-style structure with a blue dome and a pillared entrance appears. Overall about six or more people are visible.2007-08-09Outdoor temple courtyard under a corrugated roof with coconut palms behind. A priest in a white dhoti and pink-and-white turban sits at a yellow-painted altar making offerings, with brass pots, a silver bowl of red offerings, bananas and a plantain leaf on the ground. Behind him a deity murti in a red cloth is garlanded with marigolds, with an elephant-headed figure among the statues. Saffron-robed monks sit on mats to the right, and a few seated people with drums and small lamps are in the background. Red and yellow painted columns frame the space.2014-10-02February 14 20072007-02-14December 15 20062006-12-15September 09 20112011-09-09Outdoor temple-grounds photo under a large spreading tree. A man with long dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange sleeveless top, saffron dhoti-style wrap and a rudraksha mala, stands smiling and gesturing toward a person bowing low on a reflective mirrored tile path. Around him, saffron-robed men stand: one in orange with a gold-tipped staff, one in white with an orange shawl holding a silver tray with flowers, and one with a video camera on his shoulder. Concrete planters and white pillars frame the scene.2009-07-07
