From left, their saris are pink-and-orange, orange-and-gold, royal blue, blue with red border, orange, and orange with red, each with gold jewellery, headpieces and belts. A framed deity picture hangs on the wall behind them, and a figure in white sits at the far lower left edge. Their outfits are richly coloured: green with gold border, royal blue, orange and gold, purple and blue, and pink with green and gold. Each wears jewellery, jasmine or hair ornaments, and bangles. Behind them hangs a backdrop printed with a sepia photograph of an ornately carved temple pillar and sculpted walls. A white wall fan and cables sit at the left edge.2013-11-02Seven women stand in a line on a stage before a deep red curtain, several wearing silk saris in vivid colours. The woman at centre in a blue skirt and red blouse holds a microphone and speaks, with gold jewellery, a bindi and a flower in her hair. Others wear magenta, yellow, brown and blue-red saris, with pearl and gold necklaces and bangles, and some hold their hands clasped. A partially visible figure in pink at left and a brass vessel at lower right are also in frame. The setting suggests a programme or cultural presentation on stage.2018-12-31 +1 copiesNovember 02 20132013-11-02October 21 20122012-10-21
