Petals cover the floor around him. He stands with a bearded face and hair swept back, appearing to be the focus of a welcome. Around him, devotees press in with folded hands in namaste; a man in a white shirt bends forward, and a priest in white dhoti with gold border and bare chest stands at right. Women in saris and flowers in their hair surround the group, and a green leafy garland and orange flower strings decorate the ceiling above.2017-04-02A dim, night-time photograph of a path lined with devotees with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. In the centre, a figure in a deep red-brown robe with a gold-striped waistband and a heavy gold necklace walks forward between the lines. Devotees on both sides wear white and orange; a woman on the left wears an orange sari and rudraksha-style beads. Several people behind the central figure also stand with hands folded. Some devotees appear to be reverently greeting the figure as he passes. The scene is dark with a dark background overhead.2015-02-19Night photograph at a stone temple entrance with dark sandstone pillars and a lit doorway. A central figure in a dark reddish-brown wrap and layered gold necklaces, with a white-and-yellow flower garland and a tilak on the forehead, smiles and walks forward while men around him press their palms together in greeting. A man in an orange shirt with raised hands and a younger man in orange with a beaded necklace stand nearby, and a man in a light green shirt is in the foreground. Several other people are visible in the background of the temple precinct.2016-06-03A photograph of a long aisle lined with devotees, many with palms pressed together in namaskar, some kneeling on a striped rainbow runner. A central figure with long dark hair and a full beard walks barefoot in a rust-brown shawl and robe. Behind him, men in white dhotis with gold borders and a man holding a ceremonial staff with a garland walk alongside. Women wear saris in green, red, orange and gold. Colourful tassel decorations hang from the white ceiling above.2016-12-19May 26 20172017-05-26 +1 copiesA dimly lit indoor photo of a long-haired man in a rust-red kurta smiling as he walks forward through a dark hall. Beside him stands a bearded man with shoulder-length hair wearing a white dhoti with a gold border, a heavy gold-bead necklace and a rudraksha-style mala, holding a bunch of pink roses. Women and attendants with red bindis and roses follow behind them, and a shadowy crowd fills the background. The central figure has long swept-back hair and rich ornamental clothing, and is consistent with a person presence, though the appearance is only partly clear.2015-05-13July 02 20142014-07-02 +1 copiesDecember 19 20162016-12-19February 17 20152015-02-17
