A rudraksha mala hangs around its base. Behind it are carved stone pillars with a lion relief and an ornate gilded metal panel, and to the right a garland of yellow and magenta flowers hangs beside gold satin cloth. A white yak-hair chamara-style fly whisk with a gold handle rests on the stone floor at left. No people are visible.2010-12-31April 27 20122012-04-27A close view of a draped pink-red cloth, possibly on a seated or standing object, decorated with yellow marigold garlands and red roses, a pearl necklace with a brown rudraksha-style bead pendant, and a red-and-gold-trimmed cloth edge. Below, a blue cushion or cloth sits beside a wooden ledge bearing a garland of white, maroon and green flowers. Behind is carved stone wall relief and a brass lamp stand with flowers. No people are visible, and the arrangement suggests a ritual decoration or puja setup.2013-01-18Overhead photo of a gold-coloured Shiva lingam set on a bright yellow square pedestal on a grey stone floor. The lingam is wrapped in a dense garland of yellow marigolds with deep red celosia blooms and orange flowers scattered at its base, and loose petals lie on the ground nearby. No people are visible, and the scene reads as a temple or ashram shrine offering.2008-01-01Close-up of a deity murti decorated for festival worship: a dark stone face wrapped in an orange and maroon cloth with a jewelled ornament across the forehead, a golden crown-like headpiece with green and blue gems, garlands of yellow marigolds and red roses, and a gold kavacha-style collar. Behind it, a bronze figure in orange silk with a red and gold garment and a raised staff. Green drapery forms the backdrop. No physical people are visible.2013-10-12A golden metal Sri Chakra-style sculpture of a tiered shrine form, possibly a yantra or meru, sits on a square golden base at the centre of a staged arrangement. Yellow marigold flowers are wrapped in a ring around the base, and a circle of golden ornamental disc-shaped lamps or plates with red and white borders surrounds it on a deep blue cloth. Red flowers appear at the top edge, and scattered yellow petals lie on the cloth. No people are visible in the frame.2020-07-05January 09 20192019-01-09October 01 20062006-10-01November 21 20152015-11-21A photograph of a brass tray piled with yellow chrysanthemums and a few purple carnations, arranged around a small pink-and-gold tiered object resembling a shrine or yantra-like form draped with a pink cloth and jewelled trim. The tray rests on a carved wooden base. Behind it, brass lamp stands and the lower legs of a figure in a dark blue silk garment are partly visible. No face is shown, and no person is clearly identifiable as a person in the frame.2011-10-26A photograph of a deity murti, a carved figure of a deity whose face is covered by an orange and gold cloth, shown in close frontal view. The figure wears a multi-stranded gold crown with ornate headpiece, large gold and green earrings, a diamond-studded gold choker, and a gold necklace. Thick garlands of yellow marigolds, red flowers, white jasmine and purple blooms with green leaves drape the figure on both sides. Orange and gold fabric wraps the body, and a white draped table sits below. Behind, a seated figure in orange robes and yellow cloth is partly visible at the edges.2010-12-31
