He wears a bright yellow dhoti-style wrap draped over one shoulder, a gold ceremonial necklace with ornate pendant, and bare upper arm. Behind him, a man in orange saffron robes stands with his back to the camera beside a vehicle draped in orange cloth. Further back, several people in pink, green and white clothing kneel or bend near a red-cloth-covered area. Stone sculptures and a brick wall with a whiteboard stand in the background under pale sky. Visible people: about four.2010-12-23A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron shawl over white clothing and a white jasmine garland with a blue and orange stripe, stands with palms pressed together in namaste on a dirt ground. Behind him a man in a white shirt sits near a brass vessel and another man in dark clothes stands beside a low white building with a tiled roof. A red tilak mark is visible on the forehead. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), with long swept-back hair, saffron shawl and ceremonial garland cues, greeting devotees in namaste.2006-12-25Photograph of a man with long dark hair, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala, standing with palms pressed together in namaste and eyes closed, with a small red mark on his forehead. Behind him a woman in a pink and yellow floral sari stands with arms folded, and a man in white dhoti and shirt holds a drum and a brass vessel in front of a pink, gold and white draped cloth backdrop. White bricks are stacked at the lower left on sandy ground. The man in orange shows distinctive saffron clothing, long swept hair and rudraksha beads, consistent with the page's reference to a person at this procession.2006-12-23December 26 20102010-12-26December 22 20102010-12-22Outdoor procession on a dusty ground with trees and an overcast sky. In the left foreground a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe and orange dhoti stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing sandals. Behind him drummers in white dhotis and shirts play drums, including a man in a blue shirt and a man in a red-checked shirt, and a man on the right plays a long wind instrument. A white kolam floor design lies at the bottom edge.2006-12-24December 26 20102010-12-26A man with long dark hair and a red bindi on his forehead stands outdoors with eyes closed and palms pressed together in namaste, head slightly bowed. He wears a bright blue shawl edged with a lighter blue border over bare shoulders and a heavy ornate gold necklace with large gold beads. Blurred palm trees and a red pillar fill the background. Probable Swamiji is shown in an appearance-based label with long swept-back hair and ornate gold necklace, but the page's excerpt is the only source linking him to the event.2010-12-26Outdoor photo of a bare-chested man in an orange saffron shawl with gold-toned beads and a long gold necklace, hands pressed together in namaste near his chest, a red bindi on his forehead and long swept-back dark hair. Behind him two drummers in white dhotis and shirts play large drums beside a red pillar, with trees and a grey wall behind. On the right an orange stone structure. The man's appearance with long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold ornaments is a compatible candidate for Swamiji, though this is an appearance-based label only: Swamiji (probable), shown in person in an outdoor temple setting during a devotional moment.2010-12-28January 02 20122012-01-02A standing man in a red and gold silk garment with a gold-bordered shawl, long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and gold necklaces with a rudraksha-style red and black beaded mala, stands with palms pressed together under an open-sided pavilion. A seated man in an orange robe with a beaded mala sits in front of him. Behind them, drummers in white dhotis play large drums, a green banana-leaf torana hangs from the roof, and a framed portrait draped in a flower garland sits on a red-covered stand at right. Palm trees, a brick wall and a parked white vehicle are visible outside. Swamiji (probable): the standing man shows long swept-back hair, a red shawl with gold borders and gold necklaces, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji.2011-12-12 +1 copies
