A large deity murti or decorated image sits in a shrine framed by palm fronds, red cloth and heavy garlands, with a priest in a white dhoti and orange shawl standing nearby. In the foreground, devotees crowd forward, including a woman in a blue top with a long braid, women in saris, and men in white dhotis and shirts, some wearing flower garlands. Inside the golden arch stands a deity murti with a crown, flanked by two smaller figures, garlanded with yellow and orange flowers. A priest in white dhoti and shawl stands beside a black stone shivalinga-style basin being bathed, as in abhishekam. Devotees in saffron, orange, green, pink and blue saris and white dhotis stand in a queue at the left and right, some holding offerings. A small brass lamp and kalasha-like vessel sit at the front.
