June 2004 Himalayan Yatra - HAridwarA seated man in an orange saffron robe and matching orange turban performs a ritual in a open-sided hall with latticed wooden screens. He wears a long dark rudraksha mala and sits on a red and gold patterned cushion, with white ash marks on his arms, a microphone at his mouth, and his hands resting on his knees. Before him are brass vessels, bundled bamboo sticks and scattered white flower petals. Behind him, devotees in white clothes sit on the floor, including a man in white with an ID badge. The scene looks like a puja or satsang with white ritual decorations.2004-07-02A seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap sits cross-legged on a red patterned carpet, speaking into a microphone on a stand. His long dark hair falls past his shoulders and one hand rests on his chest. Behind him are white bolsters on a bed draped with white cloth, a green marble wall, a patterned white curtain, and a framed picture on the wall. A brass or silver bell-like ritual object lies on the carpet at left.
