Long pink and white flower garlands with gold-coloured beads hang across the lap, and yellow marigold garlands frame the edges. Bare feet rest on the seat and the hands rest on the knees. Only the body and hands are visible; the face is not shown. The setting appears to be a ceremonial stage or altar with a red backdrop. Identity cannot be established from the visible cues alone.2018-02-13April 20 20182018-04-20 +2 copiesJune 12 20172017-06-12Close-up photograph of a seated person's hands resting in the lap over rust-orange robe fabric. A pink and white flower garland with gold beads lies across the forearm. The sleeve above is a leopard-print pattern in black, tan and gold. Only hands and forearms are visible, so the person's face and wider identity cannot be seen.2017-09-17Close-up photograph of a bare foot resting on a brass tray filled with white jasmine flowers, during a padapuja ritual. The ankle is adorned with a garland of pink lotus blossoms, white flowers and gold beads, and a pink lotus bud is tucked near the ankle. The person's maroon dhoti or silk wrap is visible above. A red cloth covers the platform beneath the tray, with scattered pink petals and a small gold object on the tray. A blurred background shows other figures in colourful clothing.2017-06-07
