Night scene at an outdoor shrine decorated with strings of green and red fairy lights and a small lamp. A shrine with deity murti figures adorned with flower garlands and pink-draped cloth stands behind a low stone wall. Two robed figures in orange and saffron stand before it: one in a saffron garment with a loose wrap and a dark sash, and a second figure in orange with a saffron turban, reaching up toward the lit lamp at the shrine. A third person in orange and white draped clothing stands at the front with a mobile phone in hand. A single bright lamp illuminates the scene near a bamboo grove and chain-link fence.

A night-time outdoor scene in a garden lit by string lights and small path lamps. In the foreground, a person in an orange-red sari with a matching headwrap holds a flaming torch or lamp near a mat on stone pavers. Beside them, a figure in dark-red robes stands with head bowed. On the left, a deity murti or decorated figure draped in garlands and red fabric stands near a stone wall. A cropped person in light clothing stands at the right edge. Fencing, bushes and dark foliage form the background.

Two men in saffron-orange garments stand before an elephant-headed deity murti, Ganesha, adorned with a red flower garland and gold ornaments. The man on the right wears an orange turban and holds a lit oil lamp, its flame visible, and smoke rises near the shrine. The man on the left, shown from behind with long dark hair and a dark-red wrap, stands with hands clasped. A stone wall with bamboo and a chain-link fence form the background.

Two figures stand on a paved path facing a deity murti draped in green and red garlands, with a lit lamp and fire flame near its base. The taller figure on the left wears a dark shawl over a red-brown garment and has long hair. The figure in the centre wears an orange-saffron robe and an orange head wrap, holding a flame in front of the shrine as a light offering. A stacked stone wall sits beside the murti, and a small lamp post lights the path.

Night ritual outdoors at a shrine. A person in a red-orange turban, rudraksha-style red beaded garland and gold bangles holds a lit torch aloft with the right hand. Beside them, a younger figure in a dark decorated cylindrical headpiece and brown-gold wrap kneels, tending a small flame in a clay lamp. In front, a shallow bowl of burning oil lamps sits on stone. To the right, a carved stone deity murti stands with red and white flower garlands draped on pillars. Dark foliage surrounds the scene. The person on the left wears a red-orange turban and garland; the kneeling attendant wears brown and gold; the flames are oil lamps and a torch.

Night photograph of a temple shrine decorated with garlands of marigolds and red flowers. A priest in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a tilak on his forehead and hair tied back, holds a brass plate with a flaming camphor or oil lamp in front of the shrine. Behind him, a deity murti stands in a flower-decorated niche with a red and green cloth backdrop. In the foreground are a brass kalasha-style vessel, a small lit fire, fruit offerings and a golden kirtimukha-framed image on a stand. This appears to be an aarti being performed.

Inside an ornate gold-framed arch stands a decorated deity murti of two seated figures draped in marigold and flower garlands, with a gold lamp stand in front. Several figures in light clothing stand at the sides holding flaming torches or lamps toward the shrine, and a dense crowd of devotees sits in the dark foreground, many in silhouette. Red and white striped awnings frame the stage.

Three grey stone sculptures of deity murtis stand under a golden arched frame at left, set on a red base above a low stacked-stone wall. At right, one person in a saffron-orange garment with a gold-trimmed border and long dark hair faces the shrine, holding a lit oil lamp in one hand and a bell in the other, performing aarti. A small standing light is in the foreground.
