A photo of young boys seated on the floor at a ritual during a temple ceremony, several wearing rudraksha malas. In the centre a boy in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl holds white threads stretched between his hands, as others in orange and gold-bordered garments hold the same threads and a small bundle of grass or thread. Behind them seated adults wear white dhotis and gold-bordered shawls, with brass vessels visible on the floor. The boys' attention is directed toward the thread-tying rite.2016-08-18Close photo of a smiling young girl in the foreground wearing an orange turban, rudraksha beads on her wrist and neck, and white horizontal ash lines with a red bindi on her forehead. Behind her, several people in matching saffron-orange turbans and bare shoulders marked with white paint sit together, some smiling, others turning their heads. A boy with a white forehead mark sits beside her. The scene suggests an ashram gathering in saffron attire.
