Two people sit at his feet facing him: one in white with a gold border and dark wavy hair, the other in orange with a gold-trimmed shawl. A young girl in white with a gold border stands at the right beside a brass lamp stand and offerings of fruit, sweets and packets. Red velvet drapes and gold carvings frame the scene. The man appears to be a person seated on the throne receiving the seated devotees. Four people are visible.2015-11-10A seated figure on an ornate gold and red throne with lion-shaped armrests, wearing a rust-red turban, rust-red robes and a long multi-coloured garland of white, red and blue flowers, with rudraksha beads visible on the chest. He is distributing small food portions from his hands to devotees below. Around him, saffron-robed attendants with white tilak marks and beaded necklaces, and a woman in a red sari, hand out or receive the offerings. A woman in a pink veil reaches forward in the lower foreground. A gold-leafed canopy and red drapery frame the scene. The setting is a ceremonial darshan, with a mood of blessing devotees. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure, identified by turban, rudraksha, saffron-red robes and throne cues.2016-04-30November 08 20152015-11-08April 18 20142014-04-18A seated man in an orange-red turban with a green jewelled ornament at the front and a small red dot on his forehead sits on a red-and-gold throne-like chair with a gold-and-red zebra-striped cushion. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti-style robe with a gold border, a gold pendant on a chain, gold bangles and a long garland of red flowers with white blossoms. A gilded lion-head sculpture stands at left beside a dark red velvet curtain and tasseled hangings. Swamiji (probable): the saffron turban, ornate gold-bordered robe, layered garlands and throne setting are the cues here; he is smiling and looking to the side.2013-10-09 +1 copies
