A construction site at a rural compound showing partially built concrete block walls of grey cinder blocks rising from excavated sand foundations. Trenches are dug into sandy earth, with bamboo scaffolding poles lashed together along the right-hand wall and green water hoses lying across the ground. Steel framing and a tall metal gantry stand at the left and right edges. Piles of loose stone and rubble sit near the centre, and beyond the site are low buildings, trees, heaps of sand and a parked white vehicle. No people are visible.

A photograph of an outdoor construction site at an ashram compound. Grey concrete block walls rise from foundation trenches in sandy, excavated ground. Stacked bamboo poles and a green hose lie along the trench edges, and loose concrete blocks are scattered in the foreground beside plastic sheeting. Steel frame scaffolding stands at the left and right, with a white van and small buildings and trees in the background. No people are clearly visible in the frame.

Construction site at an ashram compound with grey concrete block walls being built around a low foundation. Two workers stand on a bamboo scaffold atop a rising wall near a red-roofed building, and a third person is partially visible at the scaffold. Piles of sand, loose bricks and a tall metal pole with a light fixture are in the foreground, with exposed trenches and white pipes on the ground. No a person is visible.

A construction site photographed in daylight at an ashram complex. In the foreground, rows of grey concrete block walls rise from excavated earth, with wooden poles lying along the base of a trench. Behind them, a steel truss frame with diagonal bracing spans over the site, and a tall metal scaffolding tower stands at left. Several white multi-storey residential blocks with balconies rise in the background, and a red-brick building sits at right. Loose sand, stacked blocks and a small orange tarpaulin lie among the foundations. No people are visible.

Photograph of an unfinished construction site showing concrete block walls under build. In the foreground, a low wall of grey cinder blocks with a rough mortar top stands beside a rust-stained reinforced column. Wooden poles and bamboo-like timber braces lash the walls for support, and a pile of brown earth sits behind them. In the background, a green tree, a small pale house with a metal roof, and a cloudy sky are visible. No people are present.

A photograph of an active construction site showing grey concrete block walls rising from excavated reddish-brown soil. Several stacked concrete blocks lie on the ground, a short white PVC pipe lies in a trench, and loose stones are scattered around the foundation trenches. A low building and green trees appear in the background under an overcast sky. No people are visible in the frame.

A photograph of an unfinished concrete block building under construction on open dusty ground. Grey cinder block walls rise in rectangular sections with wooden planks, bamboo poles and vertical steel reinforcement rods sticking up from the top. Loose soil and scattered timber cover the floor, and a yellow construction vehicle and a tree stand in the background. No people are visible in the scene.

A photograph of an unfinished concrete block building under construction on bare dirt ground. Grey cinder-block pillars and low walls rise from a concrete plinth, with no roof yet. Several pairs of dark sandals lie scattered on the dirt near the base, with small stones and rubble nearby. Behind the structure stand green trees, coconut palms, and a utility pole under an overcast sky. No people are visible in the scene.

Construction site of a building under way with partially built concrete block walls on dirt ground. A lightweight metal truss roof frame in silver steel spans over the walls, supported by vertical metal posts. Loose red-brown soil and stacked grey blocks surround the structure, with trees and a distant building in the background. A single partially visible worker in a white shirt sits at the lower left edge.
