A photograph of an outdoor flag-hoisting ceremony beneath palm trees in bright daylight. A tall copper flagstaff rises from a white stone platform, draped with yellow and orange marigold garlands. Several people in saffron-orange robes pull ropes to raise the flag, and one figure in orange stands with arms raised beside the pole. A seated devotee in white and another in an orange shawl sit in front, with offering plates and small pots on the platform. A red-and-gold parasol stands at the right, and a small group of onlookers in white watch from behind. A stone deity murti or lion-like carving is visible at the left edge.

Outdoor photo of a flag-hoisting ceremony at a temple-like site under bright sky with tall coconut palms. A tall copper-toned flagstaff stands on a white platform while several people in orange-saffron robes work at its base, one pulling a rope to raise the flag. A large black stone nandi-like figure draped with a yellow and white marigold garland sits in front. Devotees in white clothes stand at the right and left, some with hands folded in prayer, and a red and orange umbrella is held over an orange-robed figure at the right. Girls in white dresses and braids stand in the foreground with their backs to the camera.

Outdoor temple ritual beside a tall copper dhwaja (flag mast) on a white stone base, wrapped with white and red flower garlands and a red-and-green cloth at its foot. A man in saffron-orange robes with a white garland and orange-and-white shawl stands at the mast, raising his arms and looking up toward the top. Beside him, another man in saffron robes works at the base. Three men in white dhoti and yellow shawls stand in front holding a brass plate and offerings, with flower petals scattered on the stone. Coconut palms, flowering plants and a stone figure surround the scene, and an orange-and-red canopy stands at the right.

A man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala stands beside a dark bronze flagstaff, raising a white rope or cord overhead with one arm while holding it with the other hand. Beside him a younger person in orange robes holds the lower part of the rope near a white altar draped in a gold-patterned cloth, with a brass lamp, a bowl, a kalasha-like vessel and scattered petals on it. A cameraman in white with an orange stole films at the left, a woman in an orange sari and a man in white shirt and dark trousers with folded hands stand at the right beside white carved pillars, and other attendees watch in the background among green foliage. The scene suggests a flag-hoisting ceremony at a temple courtyard.

Nearby, an orange-robed devotee stands beside a line of around twenty-five people in white and yellow clothes and orange shawls, some holding small items, while a man in white kurta and a rudraksha-style necklace stands at right. Whitewashed buildings and coconut palms frame the scene.

A man in an orange dhoti and orange shawl with a white floral garland stands at a tall silver flagpole, holding the rope to hoist a palm-frond topped pole. Beside him, another priest in orange holds the rope overhead, and a bare-chested man in white dhoti pulls the yellow cord. A bald priest in orange with rudraksha mala raises his arms. Behind them, white-clad devotees and women in saris watch. On the right, a large black Nandi bull statue draped in a pink cloth and garlanded with flowers stands beside a table with fruit and offerings. A photographer is visible at the lower right.
