A procession moves down a dirt road lined with palm trees, bamboo poles and strings of small red and white flags. Several men in white dhotis and white kurtas walk in front, some in orange shawls. Behind them, orange and white ceremonial umbrellas shade decorated palanquins or ratha-style processional carriers, with orange flags and a drummer among the marchers. Shrubs and a low wall frame the path under a pale evening sky.

Devotees in saffron and orange robes walk in front, many in white dhotis and kurtas, while drummers beat large drums and a person in a white garment and orange cloth walks at the left edge. Several umbrella-like canopies in orange, red and yellow with decorative tassels are carried above the group, and orange and red flags are raised along the route. A figure in white stands further back near the left trees. The people appear to be moving in a festival procession toward the temple.

A procession walks along a dusty unpaved road lined by coconut palms, a grey breeze-block wall on the left and a white signboard on the right. Ahead, a robed figure in saffron/orange clothing walks at the centre of the group, with a person in bright yellow beside him. Behind them, several people in white dhotis and shirts carry or walk near large colourful ornate umbrellas or canopies, and a person in white holds a drum. A large orange flag rises above the crowd. Several men in white and dark clothing walk alongside, consistent with a utsava murti procession with umbrellas and a drum escort.
