A photograph of a seated group of men in white dhotis and shawls at a satsang gathering. In the centre, a bald man in white ritual dress with a red-bordered cloth over his shoulder wears a thick gold bead necklace with a gold pendant. He is writing on a sheet of paper with a blue pen. Around him, others wear yellow shawls over white clothes, one with a rudraksha-style mala, and one person in the lower left rests his head on his hand. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with people seated close together.2010-09-19November 24 20102010-11-24A photo of seated devotees in white dhotis and shawls with red-bordered edges during a ritual gathering. A man at right wears a white forehead mark and glasses, and a bead necklace. Brass bowls, a notebook and a pen lie on the floor.2010-10-15Seated priests in white dhotis with red-bordered cloth perform a puja on orange mats on a white marble floor. Brass lamps, a kalasha-style vessel, a clear bowl of sweets and a bowl of marigold petals lie nearby. Other priests sit behind, many wearing rudraksha malas. An open book rests on his lap. Brass vessels, lamps and a plate of offerings lie on an orange cloth before him. Behind him, several men in white dhotis and white shirts with maroon-bordered cloth sit on the floor in rows, also with white marks on their bodies. The scene suggests a group ritual with white-clad participants and saffron-clad officiants.2010-10-23A seated man in orange saffron robes holds an open notebook in one hand and a brass bell in the other, with a brass oil lamp (kuthu vilakku) at his side.
