A woman in a white blouse and cream sari with a gold border stands with palms pressed together in prayer, her long dark plait falling over her shoulder. She wears bangles and a red-thread wrist band. She leans toward a large banyan tree whose thick, twisted aerial roots fill the right side of the frame. Another person in white clothing stands behind her with one arm raised, touching the trunk. The background is softly blurred with more trees and out-of-focus figures.2013-01-20September 22 20112011-09-22A photograph of a man with long dark wavy hair standing beside a large banyan-type tree, leaning his cheek and one hand against a pale grey trunk among hanging aerial roots. He is bare-chested, wearing a green and gold draped shawl with a pink and gold edge, multiple tiers of red-brown rudraksha beads across his chest, and a matching beaded band on his upper arm. A small mark is visible on his forehead. The background shows blurred green foliage and bright sky. The figure has distinctive long swept hair, rudraksha malas and ornate shawl, so this is an appearance-based candidate for a person standing in person in a natural outdoor setting.2011-10-29A woman in a lavender chikankari kurta with white embroidered motifs and white trousers stands with eyes closed, forehead and right palm pressed against the trunk of a large banyan-type tree with aerial roots. A white dupatta hangs over her shoulders, a blue and black backpack is strapped on her back, and she wears a rudraksha mala, a gold chain, and a gold bangle. A child in a checked shirt is partially visible at the lower left, and blurred green foliage fills the background.2011-07-01A man in a purple and red silk garment with gold border stands in profile beside a large banyan tree, resting his head and one hand against its aerial roots. He wears a gold necklace, a gold armlet on his upper arm, and his hair is tied in a bun. Trunks and hanging roots fill the foreground, with blurred greenery behind.2011-11-30A man in a green dhoti-style garment with a patterned gold-and-brown border stands in profile against a large fig tree trunk, eyes closed and forehead resting against a slender aerial root. He has a white tilak on his forehead, dark hair tied in a bun, and a bare shoulder. The background shows blurred green foliage and daylight. No other people are visible. The figure's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the a person field is unsure.2011-09-14A photograph of a single man lying prone in a full-length prostration on the ground beside a large banyan tree. He wears a white dhoti with purple-edged borders and a white shirt, and has long dark hair tied back. His arms are extended forward on the reddish-brown earth, pressed against a bed of thick, exposed aerial roots and buttress roots that spread across the ground beneath the tree canopy. A concrete wall edge runs along the left side of the frame.2010-09-22A photograph of a barefoot man in a magenta and gold-bordered dhoti and matching shawl standing beside a large banyan tree, one hand resting against a thick aerial root trunk while his head is bowed. He wears a dark rudraksha mala around his neck and his hair is tied up in a bun. Behind him are a stone step, a dark floor slab and tree roots over reddish earth. No other people are visible.2011-09-22November 30 20112011-11-30September 22 20112011-09-22December 29 20112011-12-29September 22 20112011-09-22
