A seated crowd fills an indoor hall at night, with many people in white kurtas and dhotis wearing orange shawls or orange sashes. Near the centre, a woman in an orange top sits with her hand to her chin, looking toward the front. Others in the foreground have their backs to the camera. Behind them, a purple cloth draped with gold-embroidered motifs and a colourful patterned wall hang on the left, while white-covered furniture and an electric fan sit at the right. The image is a candid photograph of an assembly watching an event, and no clear figure of a person is distinguishable in appearance.
