Photograph of a seated figure in a saffron-orange wrap and orange turban with a red tilak on the forehead, bare-chested, placing a hand on the forehead of a man in white kneeling before him. Two of the figure's arms are visible. Standing behind are several men in white shirts and white dhotis; one older man wears a rudraksha mala and an ID badge, and others have their hands folded or raised in namaskar. A small hand drum and a red cloth hang at the left, and flowers lie at the lower left. Probable Swamiji (saffron wrap, orange turban and bare chest, seated and giving blessing to a devotee); the appearance is distinctive but the figure is partly obscured, so this is a probable identification from visible cues only. Appears to depict a darshan blessing session.2003-03-16Photograph of a energy darshan blessing. A bare-chested figure in an orange saffron turban and orange wrap, with a pink-and-white flower garland on the turban, reaches forward and presses his fingers to the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti. Flower petals scatter in the air. Around them, several people in white clothing stand watching, a girl in a white dress with beads holds petals, and a man in white clothes stands near a wall with red hangings. The orange-clad figure is a person by appearance cues: swept-back hair under a saffron turban, saffron clothing and a bare chest, with the page noting this was the energy darshan session.2003-03-16April 20 20032003-04-20April 20 20032003-04-20November 24 20112011-11-24A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange turban and saffron-orange cloth wrap, bare-chested, wearing a white jasmine garland with red flowers, resting his raised right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt. The kneeling man bends forward with his head lowered. Behind them, women in white saris and white clothing sit on the floor, and a white woven basket of pink and yellow flowers stands at right beside a white electric fan. A brass plate with offerings lies on the floor at lower centre. The seated figure wears a turban and saffron cloth with a plain, uncertain appearance match, so he is described by role as a seated teacher blessing a devotee. +2 copiesApril 15 20122012-04-15Night outdoor darshan scene. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at right and a white cooling unit at centre. The scene reads as an ashram blessing or initiation moment.2011-09-17May 12 20022002-05-12 +1 copies
