A crowd of people wearing black blindfolds fills a red and yellow tented hall, walking or standing closely together. Many wear white shirts and white tunics, while others wear navy, checked, and dark clothing. One man in the foreground has a bright orange and red turban, and another on the right wears a navy top. A bright doorway and more people are visible in the background, with red drapes framing the space.2017-12-16December 16 20172017-12-16A crowded indoor hall under draped yellow and maroon fabric and hanging yellow lanterns, with a large stage backdrop at the far end. Many people stand close together wearing black blindfolds over their eyes, most in white, yellow, pink, and maroon kurtas or traditional dhotis and saris. A bare-backed man in a white dhoti with a yellow border and a dark rudraksha-style necklace stands in the centre foreground. Ornate decorated arches and deity shrines frame the sides of the hall, and red carpet covers the floor.2017-12-16Indoor hall with a tiled white floor and deep red fabric draped across the back wall. In the right foreground, a person seen from behind wears a rust-orange turban and an orange cloth draped over the shoulders, with a white flower garland around the neck and a gold nose ring visible. Many attendees wear white clothes with red shawls. On stage, a figure in white and red sits on a golden throne, flanked by golden floral decorations, a small ritual trident, and a red backdrop painted with a seated deity, a bull, and a kneeling devotee. A large screen on the right shows a figure in red and white. Camera operators stand on the left and at the stage. The subject appears to be a satsang or discourse; a figure on the throne is an appearance-based candidate for a person but wearing white with a red shawl, and his appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2015-05-14 +1 copiesDecember 10 20122012-12-10Photograph of a seated audience of many people, mostly men, in a large orange-draped tent at a satsang, facing a raised altar. Foreground devotees wear white, grey hooded wraps, orange robes and knitted caps, seated closely on the ground. On the altar, a golden shrine displays a deity murti with a crown and trident, flanked by a seated figure in orange. A man in orange robes sits at the front near the dais, and a standing priest in white with a shaved head appears at the left. A red plastic chair row and a speaker stand near the left side, and a decorative teardrop-shaped banner with a blue bird motif hangs on a pole.2013-02-09December 15 20062006-12-15
