Night procession at a temple gateway with a stone entrance, tiled floor and a lit shrine visible inside. A central figure in a reddish-brown robe wears a long white and yellow flower garland and is walked through the doorway. Around him, several men and women in saffron-orange dhotis and garlands carry objects, one bare-chested man wears a sacred white ash marking and orange dhoti and folds his hands, and a woman in a white sari stands nearby. Children watch at left, and a foreign woman in orange with a garland stands at right. The scene appears to be a ritual welcome or procession. Whether the garlanded robed figure is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2017-02-07Night photograph at a temple gateway with a grey stone entrance and open green-and-yellow doors leading into a lit inner hall.
