Aerial photograph of a dense Kumbh Mela camp at Allahabad (Prayagraj) with rows of white and coloured tents, a large orange-and-yellow striped canopy in the foreground, and thick crowds of pilgrims moving between tents and along the riverside. A steel truss bridge spans the flat river plain in the background, and small thatched huts and parked vehicles sit among the tents. No individual figure can be clearly identified as a person from this distance.2013-02-10Outdoor ashram scene on a dirt path under a grey sky. A thatched-roof open pavilion with a small finial stands at centre, with seated people in its shade and a crowd of standing people around it. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts walk along the path toward a tiled-roof building with an orange wall. A silver hatchback and a silver SUV are parked at right beside flowering shrubs and a green gate. Rows of seated devotees, mostly women in white and cream saris, sit on the bare earth facing a central walkway. Several circular raised fire pits built of earth stand in the aisle. In the right foreground a man in a saffron-orange robe with a long rudraksha mala walks with his hair falling loose, flanked by men in white dhotis and shirts. A uniformed official in khaki stands among them. Potted and hanging banners line the background walls.2006-07-16February 13 20132013-02-13Outdoor satsang under a large maroon and gold canopy on sandy ground at a construction site. A robed figure in white and saffron sits on a raised orange-draped dais with a brass kalasha-like object and small umbrellas nearby, seemingly addressing the gathering. A crowd of devotees sits and kneels on the sand: women in white, saffron and yellow saris, girls in white and orange, and men in white kurtas and grey jackets, many clapping palms together. Two people appear to be visitors in western clothing at the left edge. A partially built concrete structure stands behind the tent under a clear blue sky. Approximately fifty or more people are visible.2010-12-22September 14 20152015-09-14
