Photo of a devotional blessing in an ashram hall. A man in a red-and-gold robe with a beige turban and long wrap, wearing layered rudraksha malas and gold necklaces, places his hand on the forehead of an older man in a white shirt and dark trousers, who stands with palms pressed together in namaste and head bowed. Around them, people in white clothes and orange robes stand with folded hands. Behind them is a decorated shrine with a deity murti under garlands and yellow and orange cloth. A man in white shorts and white garment stands at the right edge, and a tray of offerings sits at the lower right. Strongly appearance-based candidate presence: the turbaned figure in red-and-gold is a probable Swamiji blessing a devotee, with the distinctive turban, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklaces.2011-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 05 20112011-12-05Indoor ritual scene in a decorated hall with colourful striped pillars and white ceiling drapes. In the centre, a man in an orange shawl and orange robe, with a swept-back hairstyle, holds a silver tray with small bowls and reaches toward a devotee. Another man in an orange robe, standing at right, holds a tray with brass and gold-coloured items. A man in a white shirt with an orange shawl stands at left with his hands pressed together in namaste, and a man in white with a mustache and glasses stands beside him with folded hands. A woman in a green blouse and white sari stands behind them, and additional men in white dhotis stand at the back. A candidate matching the appearance of a person is visible at centre, wearing an orange shawl and robe with a swept-back hairstyle, offering a tray during what appears to be a puja. The orange robes and white attire indicate a devotional gathering.2011-01-21A photograph of a devotional gathering in an indoor hall. In the centre-right, a young man in an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulder, with a rudraksha mala and rudraksha bracelet, bows his head and holds a folded paper toward a man in a white shirt who receives it with both hands. Several men stand around them in white shirts and white dhotis, palms pressed together in anjali, one with a rudraksha mala and another with a tilak. A framed portrait of a smiling woman with long hair hangs on the wall at upper right, and a projector screen glows behind the group.2011-11-08Photograph of a temple or ashram hall with a colourful deity murti backdrop.
