A photograph of an outdoor temple scene in Varanasi with pink sandstone shrines and a white spired temple behind a tree. A seated man in an orange shawl wears a marigold garland and sits on a blue-edged stone platform beside a metal pot. In the foreground, a man in a white kurta with an orange shawl and shoulder bag faces away, while a bearded man in an orange shawl turns toward the crowd. A man in a green polo shirt holds a phone or camera. Many devotees and passersby fill the courtyard, and a man in a black jacket stands at the right edge.

Outdoor food distribution at a tree-shaded area in Varanasi. A man in a dark blue shirt and checked lungi stands at a steel table ladling food from a large pot into plates, while a woman in a beige top and a man in a white shirt with orange-red garlands and a lanyard receive plates of rice and curry. Other devotees and passers-by, including a man in a white kurta and a man in a green shirt, stand nearby. A pale stone bull statue and a pink stone gateway with a finial appear in the background, with a sunlit garden and trees behind.

A large outdoor gathering of saffron-clad devotees and sannyasis sits on striped mats in front of a dark stone Nandi bull draped with orange and red garlands. Many wear orange cloth, rudraksha malas and white body markings; several men have orange turbans. Behind them stands a tiered brown stone shrine structure with a kalasha-topped spire, palm trees and a red-painted platform. A white-clad figure stands at right near the edge of the crowd. Scene suggests a puja or darshan at an ashram temple courtyard.

Outdoor group gathering at dusk on a paved open ground with trees and a low building at left. A person in orange robes sits cross-legged at the front, facing a large seated group of roughly thirty devotees in white kurtas, dupattas, saris and casual clothing, including a woman in a purple shawl and a man in a white cap. Water bottles and a black bag sit on the ground near the front. A possible a person candidate in an orange robe is seated at the front, but his appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity; the person is described by role as the teacher in orange robes addressing the group. Bare trees and parked buses fill the background under a pale sky.

A courtyard scene outside a temple-style building with pale yellow walls, pink-red steps and pillars under a large spreading tree with yellow fruit. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl sits on a concrete bench in the foreground, hands folded, with orange-clad devotees seated on the ground to the right. Several men and women in saffron and white clothing stand and sit on the steps and terrace, some carrying bags. A man in a white kurta stands on the steps. No individual is identifiable as a person by the visible cues described here, so the a person field is set to unsure.

A photograph of an outdoor pavilion with a tiled floor and corrugated roof where a group of people sit on the ground eating from metal plates during a shared meal. Many wear orange or saffron robes, while others wear white dhotis and kurtas, some with rudraksha malas. A large orange-draped deity murti of Ganesha stands near the back, decorated with garlands, with colourful hanging decorations and palm trees behind. Several people stand and serve or walk among the seated devotees, and children sit at the right edge. The setting suggests an annadan or communal prasad meal.
