A photograph in a narrow whitewashed corridor of three men. On the left, an elderly bald man with a white beard and a forehead marking, wrapped in an orange saffron shawl, leans forward smiling and looking down. In the centre, a shirtless young man in a white dhoti with a white thread necklace holds one hand to his mouth. On the right, a man with long dark swept-back hair, an orange saffron wrap and a red bindi smiles broadly, holding a folded pink-orange cloth near the younger man. Plain pale walls surround them.

A photograph of two saffron-robed sannyasis in a narrow whitewashed passage. On the left, an older man with a shaved head, white forehead markings and a white beard is draped in an orange cloth pulled over his head. On the right, a smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead and a heavy ceremonial gold necklace of beads and a large pendant points ahead with his right arm. Behind them a younger man with curly hair and a red mark on his forehead stands in the background, and a young boy in white is partly visible at the right edge. The right-hand man shows distinctive long hair, ornate gold necklace and orange robes, consistent with a person candidate; the photo is a photo of people in a passage.

A photograph of an indoor scene with white tiled walls, a small green-and-yellow mat on the floor and potted pink-flowered plants at right. A bald, smiling older man in a bright orange shawl draped over his head and body kneels and extends both hands toward a younger man kneeling in front of him. The younger man wears an orange wrap and turban with a gold necklace hanging at his chest, and he has both hands pressed to the top of his head. Behind them, a man in a white shirt stands partly visible, and a blue-and-red rosette is pinned to his pocket. Metal mailboxes are mounted on the wall above. The orange-clad older man, with his shaved head and tilak, matches the appearance of a probable Swamiji, shown in an orange robe and shawl with a ritual forehead mark, while the kneeling younger devotee wears a turban and gold necklace.

Beside him, a figure with his back to the camera wears an orange-and-gold-bordered wrap and has a white flower garland in his hair, with a rudraksha-style necklace visible. Other men in orange and white clothes stand at right, one with hands pressed together in greeting, one older bearded man wearing glasses and a bare upper body with a sacred thread. A woven cane chair sits in the foreground.

A standing man in a rust-orange dhoti with a gold-edged wrap and a long gold-bead necklace leans forward and places his hand on the head of a bald, kneeling man in an orange robe and orange shawl. The kneeling man has his palms pressed together in namaste and his head bowed. They are seated in a plain room with cream sofas, a white wall and a low wooden table holding a small book, steel tumblers and a bowl. The standing man's long dark hair and ornate gold necklace are visible, and he is smiling broadly.
