December 22 20102010-12-22A festival procession in the street, with a decorated palanquin carrying a deity murti hung with colourful garlands and a multicoloured canopy frame. In the foreground a man in a saffron-orange cloth and orange head wrap, wearing a long gold necklace, walks at the centre of the crowd; his long swept-back hair and ornaments fit the page's presentation, but his face is not clearly distinguishable, so the identity is uncertain. Around him, men and women in white shirts and white dhotis carry white flags and umbrella poles, and a brass kalasha lamp sits on the left palanquin. Other figures in orange and saffron clothing walk behind. Red and purple fringed canopies and banners with bright patterns frame the scene.2005-12-31April 18 20162016-04-18Outdoor procession crowd in bright daylight.
