A seated man in rust-orange draped cloth, bare-shouldered, with long dark hair swept back and a white forehead mark, extends his right hand with a red thread bracelet to touch the bald head of a man in a white collared shirt who faces him with palms pressed together. Behind them stand an ornate silver throne with leopard-print cushions and tall silver staffs topped with a trident and a decorative finial. The purple-lit stage backdrop suggests a ritual initiation. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, a rust-orange wrap, a gold pendant necklace and a throne, meeting the guideline cues for a candidate presence.2018-05-17 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated man in a rust-orange robe with long, swept-back dark hair and a full beard, sitting on a red cushioned seat with bare feet. He rests his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white kurta with a red-and-orange shawl and red wrist thread, who bows forward with palms raised. Behind them stand a golden deity murti and a red curtain, with a gold-framed chair edge and a partly visible person in orange at the right edge. Appearance-based candidate, probable Swamiji, seated and blessing the devotee; his long hair, rust-orange robe and rudraksha-style braided cord are the distinguishing cues.2016-09-09A seated man in a maroon-red robe with a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders sits on a red-cushioned throne in front of a red curtain and a gold throne backrest. He has closed eyes and a forehead tilak, and he holds a small cloth or prasad in his hands. An older man in a white sleeveless vest with an orange-red shawl bows forward, leaning his head toward him as the seated man places a hand on his head in blessing. The gold throne and red drapery frame the satsang-style blessing scene. Swamiji (probable) is the seated man, identified by the long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and maroon robe.2016-09-09May 18 20182018-05-18 +1 copiesMay 17 20182018-05-17A photograph of two men in close, intimate contact in a temple-like hall with a gilded golden throne behind them and a red cloth-draped seat. The man on the right, with long dark swept-back hair, a thin beard, a red tilak on his forehead and a rust-red shawl over his bare chest, places his right palm on the forehead of a shaved-headed man on the left. That man wears an orange-saffron cloth over his shoulders, a long dark rudraksha mala around his neck, and a bracelet on his wrist, and has his hands raised in reverent acceptance. Water bottles and a golden tray sit on the red cloth below. The scene appears to be a blessing or anugraha moment.2016-07-07April 13 20182018-04-13 +1 copiesA seated man in a rust-orange robe with a red-and-gold trim and a red forehead mark sits on a gold-and-red throne, long hair falling behind his shoulders, his right hand resting on the crown of a bare-chested devotee kneeling before him with palms pressed together in namaste. The devotee wears a white dhoti-style cloth over one shoulder and a dark beaded necklace, receiving blessing. A copper water bottle and a gold-patterned table stand behind them, with red drapery and gilded carved woodwork around the throne.2017-07-14 +1 copiesA photo of a blessing moment. A long-haired man with a beard, bare-chested apart from an orange-red saffron wrap and a rudraksha mala around his neck, places his right hand on the forehead of an older, grey-haired man in a white shirt with a red sash. The older man bows with eyes closed and palms pressed together in anjali. Behind them a red curtain and a gold pillar; a younger man in white with a rudraksha mala stands at left.2016-07-14December 26 20142014-12-26A photograph of a seated man with long dreadlocked hair, a saffron-orange garment, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, reaching out to touch the forehead of a kneeling, shaved-headed devotee in a white undershirt and rudraksha beads, whose palms are pressed together in anjali. The devotee has a white vibhuti mark on his forehead. Behind them is an ornate gold lattice backdrop with carved relief panels, and the seated man sits on a leopard-print cushion beside a silver vessel. The seated figure resembles the description of a person in appearance, but the page does not establish that identity visually; the setting appears to be a blessing or darshan moment. Two people are visible.2017-10-04April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copies
