A black stone statue of Dakshinamurthy, a form of Shiva as teacher, stands in an open-air shrine beneath a branching tree. The four-armed murti wears an orange and maroon cloth wrapped over its shoulders and around its waist, with a dark rudraksha mala hanging to the waist and a red tilak on the forehead. It holds a drum and other ritual objects in its hands and stands on a black pedestal with a small figure at its base. An ornate silver arch frames the statue, and a black plaque below reads Dakshinamurthi shrine, with an Om symbol on the base. Red-painted ritual stones and small orange flowers lie at the foot of the pedestal.
