A dark stone deity murti sits in a shaded outdoor grove beneath a wide banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. The image is framed by a curved arch decorated with yellow, red and white marigold garlands, and a teal cloth backdrop. The murti wears a garland and sits on a raised red-earth mound with a smaller dark stone linga base in front, also garlanded. Red-brick paved ground surrounds the shrine, with a small red wall in the background and a few distant figures near a bench and tank at left. No one is clearly close to the central shrine.2016-12-05A photograph of an outdoor shrine area beneath a large banyan tree with thick, twisting aerial roots and hanging vines. A paved stone path leads toward a gated enclosure with a metal railing. On the right, a deity murti in gold and silver ornamentation stands beside a dark stone figure wearing an orange-and-red cloth, white and red garlands, and a tilak, set within a green-curtained niche with an ornate white arch. A seated figure in white appears faintly in the far background near the red wall. Scattered leaves cover the pavement and construction tools lie at the lower right.2016-10-26 +1 copiesOctober 17 20172017-10-17December 05 20162016-12-05An outdoor shrine beneath large spreading trees with hanging aerial roots. At the right, a shrine with a black stone linga and a green cloth draped on a pillar sits beside a heap of red flowers at its base. Two women in white and yellow saris stand at the shrine, one offering something at the linga. In the centre, a man in white shirt stands near the tree trunk, and at left a man in a light shirt sits on a low platform beside a woman in a green sari bending near the ground. The scene suggests a quiet puja under the banyan. No a person candidate is clearly visible.2013-06-13Outdoor shrine beneath a large spreading banyan tree with dangling aerial roots. At the right stands a carved white stone arch framing a seated deity murti painted yellow with a red crown-like head ornament, set on a mound of red and pink offerings. Dark polished stone slabs on the ground hold small red-and-white woven mats, and a small stone bench sits at the left. No people are visible. The image shows a quiet open-air shrine setting.2013-06-13
