He wears a rust-red robe with a gold border, layered gold and jewelled necklaces, bangles and armlets, and a red tilak on his forehead. He holds a bamboo flute with green-banded ends across his lap while gesturing with one raised hand, apparently speaking to an audience. He has a white forehead mark and a red bindi, and raises one hand in a blessing gesture while the other rests open on the armrest. A tall gold trident stands to the left, a gold-and-yellow draped backdrop and red cushions surround him, and a striped woven mat lies on the floor. Behind him, a second, partly visible figure in a turban sits on a smaller throne. The scene suggests a seated ceremonial gathering on a stage.2017-02-22October 18 20172017-10-18A seated man in a rust-red turban with a gold embroidered motif and a red bindi speaks into a boom microphone while smiling and raising one hand in a gesture.
