In the foreground a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with rudraksha malas, white vibhuti stripes and a red tilak, works over brass oil lamps and ritual vessels on a cloth-covered floor. Other priests in orange and white ritual clothing sit alongside, their hands reaching toward brass puja items. The background is blurred with more participants. Nearby, ash-marked devotees in saffron-orange garments and a row of brass lamps complete the scene of puja.

A seated ritual scene in a hall where several men in orange and saffron robes perform a puja. Three men in the foreground wear rudraksha malas, sandalwood-paste tilak on their foreheads and arms, and orange or red shawls over bare upper bodies. The man in the centre sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, while the man at left and the man at right handle ritual items. A silver tray holds brass oil lamps, a small brass bell, a kalasha-style vessel, flower offerings and fruit. Young boys in orange robes sit behind them, and a figure in white sits at the far left edge. The bald-headed man at right, with a red-orange robe and ornate necklace, is a priest-attendant role; no visible appearance cues establish a person's presence.

A large group of saffron-robed monastic students sits cross-legged on a white floor for a ritual. Many have white vertical forehead markings and rudraksha malas; the front row has shaven heads. Several have palms pressed together in prayer, and others hold small brass vessels and ritual items on tray-like plates in front of them. A few adults in orange and maroon robes sit among them, and some men in white shirts sit in the back. Brass plates hold flowers, fruit and oil lamps, and a red cloth runs along the back. It appears to be a group puja or chanting session.
