A man in a maroon-red robe with a long brown beaded mala and a bare shoulder places his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling devotee in a white kurta and red shawl, whose palms are pressed together in namaskar. Behind them, other devotees in white and red clothing sit and stand, and a woman in a red garment appears in the background. Their hair is pulled back into a bun. They press a small white cloth or paper to the forehead of a bald man in a white shirt who bows low before them. Behind is a bank of yellow flowers and green foliage, a trident-like ceremonial staff stands upright, and a woman in a maroon-bordered sari with a rudraksha mala watches. Offerings sit on a tray at the lower left. Appearance-based label: a person seated on the throne, with saffron robes and rudraksha mala as qualifying cues.2015-02-01July 17 20132013-07-17A photograph of a man in a rust-orange wrap and a rudraksha mala with a white vibhuti mark on his forehead placing his right hand on the head of a man kneeling before him. The seated man has long dark hair pulled back, a swept-back style and rudraksha beads visible at his neck. The kneeling devotee, in a white collared shirt with a rudraksha mala, sits with palms pressed together in anjali, bowing his head.
