Behind them a man in white ritual dhoti with a shaved head and a bare upper body looks on, and other devotees stand in the background. The setting is an indoor hall with a wall-mounted air-conditioning unit and a maroon curtain. The figure has distinctive long hair and ornate beaded necklace cues, so this appearance is a person candidate giving a blessing, but appearance alone is uncertain.2013-05-12A photograph from an indoor darshan session with a red carpet on the floor. A man with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads, and a saffron-orange shawl sits on the left, reaching out to press his palm to the forehead of a young man in a white t-shirt with a rudraksha mala and an event badge. The young man kneels with his palms open in front of him. Behind them, devotees in white and saffron-orange and yellow clothing sit or stand in a hall, a golden staff stands upright, and a tall golden lamp stands at right beside a laptop. Tangle of visible people is around twenty or so, partly cut off at the frame edges.2014-11-02A photograph of a shaved-headed?-no: a man in a saffron-orange and gold-edged dhoti-shawl wrap, wearing a multi-strand rudraksha mala, extends his right arm to place his palm on the forehead of a young curly-haired boy in a white t-shirt with an orange-red shawl and orange lanyard. The boy's hands are raised at his head in receptive posture. Behind them, a woman with a vermilion bindi and beaded mala sits, and several people in white and orange-red robes stand at a red-carpeted ceremonial area with a gold-carved throne-like chair and green plants.2015-07-19A seated man in an orange-red draped robe with a golden border and a brown rudraksha mala around his neck places his right hand on the forehead of a man in a white shirt with an orange-red scarf. His hair is swept back in a bun and he has a white tilak on his forehead. The recipient closes his eyes and holds his left hand near his face. Behind them, a golden-clad deity murti is decorated with yellow and red flower garlands, and two women in white with red borders stand at the right. An air conditioner and a sea-wave picture sit in the background. Appearance-based label: a person, giving a blessing in person, with the bun, orange-red robe and rudraksha mala as cues.2013-09-13May 25 20132013-05-25October 25 20152015-10-252003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2003-01-01 +1 copiesJuly 21 20132013-07-21
