Outdoor photo on a dusty red-earth lane beside a weathered concrete wall with torn, faded posters and a corrugated metal roof edge. In the foreground, a man in an orange button-up shirt stands at left with a red tilak mark on his forehead. Behind him, a woman in a striped white and purple sari and another woman in a blue sari stand near the wall. Three boys stand in front: one in a grey t-shirt with a pendant, one in a brown shirt, and one in a green shirt, all smiling. Two boys hold up a limp scarecrow-like figure with a white cloth head, red top and yellow-green cloth arms.

A street photograph in a village after a cyclone, showing a crowd of women, girls and boys gathered around a blue-sided relief truck on a paved road. A woman in a teal head covering and orange-brown sari reaches up from the truck bed while others in green, turquoise, pink and yellow clothing reach toward it, some holding out hands for supplies. Behind them are a multi-storey concrete building, a thatched hut with laundry strung outside, and fallen palm debris along the roadside. No swami figure is visible in the scene.

Outdoor procession on a dusty dirt road during a Dasara celebration. A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and matching shawl, with orange and white flower garlands and rudraksha beads, walks under a red, green and yellow umbrella with a tasselled fringe. Behind them a man in white ritual clothes lifts a red-and-gold ornament overhead. Around them, devotees in white and cream saris and dhotis, and children in colourful clothes, are smeared with pink, green and yellow colour powder. A large decorated deity murti with a painted face on a white ratha or palanquin is visible at the left, and a utility pole and small buildings stand in the background.

Outdoor procession on a dirt road during a festival, with a crowd of devotees and children smeared in coloured powder. At the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair and a bare chest wears an orange cloth and a multi-strand orange beaded necklace, with orange-and-white garlands; he is one of the few distinctive-cue figures and appears as a person leading the procession. Beside him, a man in an orange wrap and a man in white dhoti with a red sash walk. A colourful umbrella with fringe is held over the centre, and a large decorated deity murti with multiple arms stands on a ratha/palanquin-like float behind. Children in yellow, green and white dresses and striped shirts crowd the road, with a red-brick building and water tank at the back.

Outdoor photo on a dirt road at an ashram-style campus. Several children and young adults stand in a crowd, many holding and waving bright orange-red flags with a dark emblem. A boy in a light blue t-shirt raises a flag on the left, and a girl in a blue top holds a flag on the right. A woman in an orange sari holds a brass tray with offerings, facing a bald man in white dhoti with red-bordered cloth who stands barefoot, appearing to receive the tray in a puja-style gesture. A policeman in white uniform and cap stands behind the group beside a green metal structure and a brick wall. Flat hazy sky in the background.
