On the right, a smiling person with long dark hair and swept-back styling wears a flowing saffron-orange shawl and walks beside an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti-style cloth. On the left, a bare-chested young man with a sacred thread and beaded necklace wears a white dhoti and stands with hands folded. Another man in a white cloth stands in the doorway.2006-11-10Four men walk barefoot along a covered colonnade past pale blue pillars, with dense green shrubs at right and a patch of lawn at left. In front, an older man with white hair wears a cream short-sleeved shirt and matching white dhoti. Behind him, two bare-chested men in white dhotis walk closely, one with a thin sacred thread over his shoulder, and a fourth man stands further back. The scene is a plain, everyday walk rather than a ceremony.2006-11-10Evening ritual at an ashram courtyard at night. Three young men in white dhotis and white kurtas, with orange shawls draped over their shoulders, stand in a row holding silver aarti lamps with lit flames. Each has white vibhuti marks on the forehead. Behind them a dark doorway and a whitewashed wall with a painted decorative column; a few seated figures are visible at the right and lower left edges. The lamps are held up in front of them as they perform aarti.2007-10-14June 16 20142014-06-16A figure in a saffron-orange robe with long dark hair and a long rudraksha mala walks barefoot across a tiled hall with a high wooden coffered ceiling and round grey pillars. The wide openings show a grassy area and a parked vehicle outside.2006-11-10October 13 20072007-10-13Interior photograph of a wooden-pillared corridor in a traditional palace, with dark polished floor, carved wooden ceiling panels and arched windows. A tall man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl walks in front, with long dark hair, bare feet and a bright orange tilak on his forehead; he is described as Swamiji (probable) on the basis of his saffron ornate clothing and long swept-back hair. Behind him a man in white with an orange shawl follows, and a camera operator in white with an orange shawl films. A woman in a white embroidered salwar kameez with sunglasses walks beside them, and a smiling woman in a red blouse and turquoise sari stands at right. A stone statue stands in an alcove at center-right.2006-11-10November 10 20062006-11-10A procession walks through a stone temple passageway lined with carved sculptural panels, bright daylight visible at the far end. Around him, men in white dhotis and white shirts and women in white and light-blue saris follow, several wearing rudraksha-style mala necklaces. A bare-chested man in a red-brown dhoti and another in white dhoti walk nearby, and a cross-section of devotees stands at the margins, with a small seated figure in white at the left edge.2009-08-11March 06 20072007-03-06
