A seated teacher in orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate cream throne with black carved trim and round cushions, speaking into a microphone stand and gesturing with one hand while the other rests on an open book on a small stand. Behind him a burlap backdrop hangs with beaded strands and the banner reading Yoga Sutra; orange lamp shades hang above and a potted plant stands at right. In the foreground, a large audience of mostly seated people, many seen from behind, listens attentively, with a few in white and pastel shirts.
