He holds a folded white paper in one hand and raises his other palm over the head of a man in a white shirt. Two people in the foreground stand with hands folded in anjali, one an older bespectacled man in white. Behind them a bald priest in white with a red tilak watches, and a red box of offerings sits at the right edge. Dark red curtains and a white ceiling form the hall backdrop. Appearance-based candidate: a person, shown performing a blessing with a raised palm.2013-05-12May 18 20122012-05-18June 01 20142014-06-01A seated person in a maroon-and-gold sari-style robe with a multicoloured garland of yellow and red flowers and gold ornaments touches the head of a man bending forward in a white shirt, who holds a small brass dish with a yellow offering. Behind them, a man in an orange-brown dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands, and a photographer with a camera and other onlookers are in the background. Wooden floor and yellow walls form the setting. The seated person has long swept-back hair and a gold necklace, but face and appearance are not sufficient for a confident identification.2014-06-28 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in a red silk garment with a gold-bordered shawl and a long rudraksha mala draped over the chest, hair pulled back into a bun with a small tilak on the forehead, smiling broadly. Facing him, a man in a white kurta with a thin mala around his neck raises both hands, palms open and turned toward the seated figure's face, in a blessing or energy-transmission gesture. Behind them, a blurred temple-style backdrop with carved stone-like panels and a golden ornamental pillar, and a purple curtain at the right edge. Two people are visible in the scene.2011-07-04July 05 20152015-07-05 +1 copies
