In the foreground a man in white sits with an empty shallow brass bowl. At the front, a raised altar draped in white and red is decorated with marigold garlands and a row of ornately decorated colourful arches or shrines, with a seated figure in orange at the centre. A standing person in orange stands at the right edge beside speakers. The scene is a group puja or satsang with deity murti decorations and garlands.2006-12-26Photo 11714960November 14 20102010-11-14September 11 20102010-09-11A large open-sided pavilion with a corrugated metal roof holds a crowd of seated devotees on a concrete floor. Most men wear white dhotis and shirts; many women wear saris in pink, yellow, red and teal, some with hair in long braids. Rows of small white brick fire pits with brass pots and offerings line the foreground. At the far end, priests in saffron and orange robes stand before an ornately decorated altar with floral garlands, colourful ceremonial arches and a deity murti. Strings of marigold garlands and bunting hang overhead, and black speakers flank the stage.2006-12-26September 11 20102010-09-11July 21 20052005-07-21 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20102010-09-11
